If you usually have trouble decorating your Second Life home I feel this time you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Happy Tuesday, we are already, what? two days into the week. It will be okay, you’ll see. You’ve already done so amazingly well. Part of today’s post is to provide an update as to my current blogging schedule. I will be patchy on this week and the next because I’m taking one of those mental breaks. I think I need it. No, scratch that. I know I do.
I’ve become far too self critical in the last month. I should have taken one prior but I powered through because no way am I taking a break from what I enjoy. However, my mental state in regards to my images and flickr in general has been poor. It came to the point where I felt abject dread logging on to messages convinced each time someone would be there to tear me to shreds even more than my inner critique had and wow has she been putting in her best work recently. Talk about feeling unworthy of anything. I even feel it seeping into my real life work and I’m bound to end up taking a week off from that when I can.
I have another post that is already going to go ahead, I just won’t physically be taking any images. Instead I’m taking a mental refresh and going to go back to the basics but I won’t be leaving you hanging for too long. I’ll get myself sorted. In the mean time here is a scene I set up the same day as the ‘Making Pies’ post. I was having a creative day that day. I never manage to set up that many decor scenes in a day. Not sure what I was on but I want more of it. I think it’s because there were so many good decor items at Collabor88, or maybe it was just the beautiful colours of the items in today’s post. It was something but as soon as I got them out they fell so easily together.
If you usually have trouble decorating your Second Life home I feel this time you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I loved all the dusky pinks and colours that I chose a complimentary windlight too. The trinket bowl was my absolute favourate item simply because the idea of having one makes me feel proper posh. It’s also adorable because it’s got a wee bunny in the middle of it so naturally I tugged it up closer in the shot.
I’ll see you all again shortly, till then how about taking a look through the credits.
