Hi guys! I’m back again! Happy Monday, I hope it’s not too stressful for you. I will admit I wasn’t looking forward to a Monday but it’s been brilliant so far. How did you find the shopping weekend in Second Life? wasn’t it good?? there were so many thing to get. I haven’t even stopped yet because Black Friday keeps popping up everytime I think I’m finally done. I don’t think my pockets can keep up with the Sales anymore. What a horrible but glorious existence. Did I mention I loved shopping? no? God, best most fun thing to do ever. Can I shop for you?! can I just tell you about the sales? Someone engage me in conversation about the sales I need an outlet if I’m not shopping at least.
Some of the shopping I did on the weekend really helped to bring today’s image together. Getting to match my make up to it was fun. Initially I had on yellow eyeshadow and green lipstick to match the top and then when I saw the Lisa Walker eye make up I thought “that’s it, that’s what I want!” Let’s match that! Thank you weekend sales. I love the glossy lipgloss on my avatar, it’s so beautiful. Satomi picked hers up from Ives and mine is from Top1Salon. I think it worked out well because those are two of my favourate makeup stores. It’s particularly difficult getting matching lippies for dark skin avatars and they do such good lippies. If you didn’t know, Top1Salon is doing a black Friday sale so if there is anything you’ve wanted for so long, nows your chance. Everyday there is one item at 25L as well. Peanuts. Literally. This is!…today’s featured items are the gorgeous top by Kotte which set the theme and colours for the whole thing. You can make it transparent too but I wanted to preserve my avatar’s modesty for a bit. At least during the shoot. The other amazingly fun thing were these amazing gloves by Cubic Cherry. They are BOM but they also come with appliers and material appliers too.
What I loved about it being an applier/bom is that I could add things to it. In particular these claws also by Kotte. They look like they were made to go together. The half gloves are really lovely by themselves and then as if they weren’t gorgeous enough they get taken up even further. I’m in love with this merger. The collar on Satomi is also being featured and it is by AsteroidBox. The collar was actually updated and if you have already bought it previously you should get yourself a redelivery and check out the newness. It was also part of the Saturday Sale on the weekend too and if you bought it during the Saturday sale don’t worry. You already have the most up to date one.
The poses I used are by Stardust and I think they worked really well to show off the gloves and claws really well while also looking quite serene indeed. I did go a little over board with the hair strands. I will admit but the colours on the ancient cintiq I use are quite muted so I didn’t even realise I had so many since I thought most hadn’t even shown up. At the same time though I love it because the white edging adds to the whites in the image.
