I am splitting today’s post into two since the last post was a long one, not my idea but I’m going to pretend it was. I took this picture on the set for the next picture that will be coming soon. It was slow going doing two big ones at the same time. Particularly since there’s only so much space on a platform sim and prims. I got to finish it up yesterday though. I should have actually been in bed sleeping but I was enjoying myself too much to want to give up. The only reason why I did was because firestorm crashed on me. It said get yourself to bed already it’s late! I wish I could tell you that was the only issue I had or the only time it crashed on me.
I didn’t thank it for it’s concern either, I was most put out. How dare you ruin my fun. It’s alright though because that’s where I got the idea to break it into two parts instead since the decor part is not ready yet. You can thank Firestorm for that. Today we will be focusing on some of the decor as well as the fashion and then the part two will focus on the additon of the Decor and build which is another collaboration between Fancy Decor and KraftWork.
The outfits today are both from Collabor88. Bear is wearing Pure Poison, I really love the little bra and panties, sure I don’t have her barely dressed often enough but when I do, it’s cute. Something really neat about the outfit is that they all come seperately. So you could combine the dress with just the panties if you’re racy enough, take them off completely and have the dress only or take the dress off and just have the top and bottoms on. It also comes with a HUD of colours to choose from. You can’t go too far wrong really.
Speaking of things that you can customise, the tattoo. Let’s sit and talk about this tattoo for a bit because wow, customisation. I love the fact that it comes with seperate pieces, I used the outlines first and thought wow…these are so beautiful but then I realised actually I can add fills and the fillers are tintable. The tattoos come in different opacities as well and in different parts. You could literally make the tattoos a combination of what you want in the colours you want. It’s kind of like a small scale build a bear but for BOM tattoos. Yes, I’ve gone to ‘build a bear’, don’t pretend you haven’t. That’s besides the point, don’t pick on me. Anyway, I made the fill for the butterfly pink, obviously, I wanted to match the cute sakura headdress. I also made one of the tattoos pink so I ended up with such a cute tattoo that I’m boggled as to how clever it all is. The possiblities guys…think about it. In fact here are some I did using the white tattoos.
I’m starting to think Firestorm had a point because I’m not even fiished talking about the fashion items imagine how long it would have been with the decor too. I wanted to talk about the cute fur stole. You can’t see it that well in a still image but it glitters subtly. I love it. It makes you feel all sorts of elegant just having a stole but I love the soft glittering too. It’s makes you feel special. I just remembered, Satomi’s outfit shimmers as well and I remeber thinking that was a lovely subtle glittering too, you can also choose opacities for it too.
Bear’s hair is the new hair from Miwas. It comes with the styling hud as well and it does allow you to put all the hair backwards which I appreciate. Sometimes you really need it all back but you don’t want it back all the time, right? The extra time and effort that has to go into having different styles in one hair though. I can only appreciate the effort really.
I love song eyes and these ones are particularly pretty. So pretty to me in fact that I ashewed the normal black that I use for my avatar and went with brown. That’s usually the other colour I use aside from pink, green and rarely blue. In real life I’ve only ever used green and blue contacts.
The decor I am actually going to talk about in today’s post is the absinthe set from Fancy Decor also at Collabor88. I’m not even going to pretend to be cool enough to know what absinthe even is but look how pretty it looks. The colour is really cute. I also like the water dispenser, that is my favourate aside from the glasses because have you seen how pretty those are? Maybe I just love glass so I appreciate well made ones.
