Play games with me

Today was so busy! So busy doing all the Halloween things that I barely had time to get back to my computer and actually work on my post for today. As a result, here I am at what will soon be the witching hour and perhaps that is rather fitting. It isn’t a scary picture, it’s some pink fun reflecting some of my day today, the part spent on Animal Crossing giving lots of candy to Jack. That was rather fun. Strangely enough it ended up being a family event because we were all on it. How bad has it become that the most exciting Halloween thing is that we were all trick or treating on Animal Crossing. I think it’s cute but still though, guys…what’s happened to us?! Still…did you get all the stuff? I don’t know if I did or not, I kind of quit after I kept getting given robes three times in a row. I’m going to guess I finished it all.

Another part of my day was spent cooking, so much cooking. I think the menu today was possibly the most busy it’s been in a while. I don’t know if it is the same with everyone else but have you noticed that you sort of have to do a lot of cooking these days. Since it’s not as easy to go out and eat or order in you end up making a lot of meals in the day. Usually at work I would get my lunch from the corner shop or the supermarket up the road. Currently however, there’s breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks to worry about. Today I definately felt that I didn’t even get to make the flapjacks I wanted. I cooked so much I think I still smell of oil, ew.

To make matters worse dinner was slightly delayed to then this huge cooking session started far too late into the day for my liking and I just knew that I would be up late today writing my post. I learnt so much though, making our own homemade dressings and bread is now a thing like…I would never have learnt that. I’m still proud of myself for doing it and I’m equally proud that I managed to finish my post too.

The downside is I far too tired to go shower because I’m so exhuasted I’m about to drop. Rest assured that I’m about to crawl to bed, my eyes have crossed over and my yawns are coming thick and fast…ugly too. You know the kind, the one where you haven’t the energy to style them out or even hide them elegantly behind your hand. That all encompassing blackhole that takes up half your face and you worry you may engulf yourself from the inside out. I knew you would know the one. I have those, so I’m going to leave you with the credits and see you again shortly. Once I’ve gotten a few hours of sleep, naturally. I hope your Halloween was as fun as mine was.
