I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. It was equal bits stressful and equal bits fun. I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping. I am just waiting on one gift. Overall it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought half of the gifts I ordered would arrive only after Christmas. It would have been just my sort of luck that I would be left red faced having to explain that I just didn’t get anything delivered but for a few gifts.I hope it was easier for you all to get your gifts. I wanted to make a concentrated effort to support as many smaller businesses as I could but it actually wasn’t possible in most cases. I did the ones I could though. I feel bad that businesses are being shut again, even as I understand why. I truly hope everyone can afford to get through Christmas time. January is going to be particularly difficult because it’s always notoriously difficult after all the Christmas spending.
Today’s post isn’t going to be too long, I’m going to be trying to make a cake in just a little bit. The cake in the picture actually comes a tad bigger than pictured. It also looks just as chocolatey and yummy inworld. It also looks so adorably homemade. It’s really cute. If I had cocoa I would have made a chocolate cake but I don’t have any. I’m so sad now.
The items featured are from Okinawa Christmas Festival and The Arcade and I’ve also included some inworld shots as well as a shot of what the cake should and does look like before I started messing with it. Some immersion in fun activities and inworld shopping is what I prescribe for the current winter blues. Virtual shopping and glorious cake.
