A Floral Ball

In continuation of the floral themed titles, today’s one is no exception and I think it might be obvious why it was called thus. This was only supposed to be a outfit only post, it was just going to be my avatar head to hip. Then I realised I hadn’t shown off these shoes yet. Do you remember? the one’s I had such trouble getting initially but that the Pure Poison owner was so kind to give to me and refund me. Well, this suddenly changed everything and it was then meant to be a head to toe picture, probably sitting. Something like that. Just being cool and everything. Just being all chill.

Then my Satomi gets added to the image and suddenly you’re catering for 2 avatars and then it’s like well, now we definitely need a background. In comes Foxcity to save the day with a Saturday Sale offer. Then I thought well, now we have to match colours! so the colour inspiration was taken from the background. I think it worked well, no? Both outfits are from AsteroidBox so the colours not only matched the colours of the background but also matched each other very well since they are both by the same creator. What would your choice be? would you be more cute pink pantsuit or would you only ever be caught a skirt and a cute pink top hat?

Of course, it would have to be tilted to the side slightly in a rather artful fashion. I also want to make it some kind of law that all hats must have wings. Sure, they can detach when you want them to but it has to still come with wings and that option! Thank you Cubic Cherry for already making this a thing because guess what you can do with this hat!?Once all that was done and we were all posed and waiting the camera clicks, I thought…now wouldn’t it be a shame to simply take a picture of two avatars, just standing there. Smartly dressed, naturally but still…just standing there looking cute. What can I do to make it more interesting still.

Boom.

Covered the place in flower petals and rose balls. It’s a Rosbalosion! It’s totally a word. It’s what happens when you happy-splode rose balls everywhere. It now feels wonderfully like we were invited to a party and just turned up to make the usual iconic walk down the stairs to a room full of entranced party goers.

And that is the story of how today’s image came to be. I seem to usually say something about the real life situation at the end so today, lets just say everything is going well actually. I still feel like my thighs got trampled by a herd of elephants but I got a package yesterday from my friend who has now been elevated to All Time Best Friend of my entire life. The entirety of it till date. Perhaps any of my reincarnations too if I could remember them. She brought me a box full of noodles, some biscuits, fizzy bath bombs. Mini little cupcake themed ones (omg so cute) butter, 2 cartons of juice, 1 pack of pasta, a tin of tuna and one of sweetcorn, oh oh…even a loaf of bread!

It was weird looking at actual bread for a bit. Simply because it’s been so hard to find one round here that the thing looked rather foreign to me and it was Kingsmill of all things. Luxury!!

Oh and she got me two tops, something she had bought for me before all this happened but hadn’t gotten round to giving and…and this is what will forever cement her place in history…she brought food for my cat too. I had this long ‘awww’ moment that she actually remembered my little gremlin. As if that wasn’t enough she’d brought me liquid iron. That part melted my heart further. Remembering that I’m anemic and so will be struggling to get iron from anywhere else right now. She brought me 2 bottles of liquid iron supplement.

How the heck does anyone get that good in life. I had been worrying about my iron levels since fresh spinach is off the table now, I’m not even going to try bothering to find beetroot when there’s no veg about and meats are one of the first things to go in a store restock. So that’s red meats out too.

I could have hugged the girl but of course you can’t even hug right now so her birthday present later in the year is gonna be EPIC. I have been very lucky indeed.
